Antariksh – Dil Se Rock Version Live at Music Mojo Season 4, Kappa TV

Varun Rajput - Founder and Guitar Player of Hindi Rock Band Antariksh Live on Music Mojo Kappa TV Season 4

Hey all you awesome folks! How’s it going? Hope you’re keeping your cool in the sultry summer, that’s still only warming up. Each year around this time I start to question how are we gonna get through the sweltering summer months? And each year, the answer that comes through very naturally is – ‘by staying indoors and writing a new album’.  😀 Other than the last live album we did on Season 4 of Music Mojo on Kappa TV in November 2015, we haven’t released a lot of new material. It’s not that we haven’t been writing new music – we actually have written material worth 2 albums, some of it complete, some of it half way there…

O Humdum Suniyo Re + Pichle Saat Dinon Mein – Rock Medley Live at IIT Delhi

Antariksh Live at IIT Delhi

Hey guys! Hope you’re all doing great and having an awesome time with so much music all around at this time of year. We can’t even begin describing how this season has been absolutely crazy for us – we’ve played more gigs than we’ve ever played before, and thanks to all our friends and fans and supporters, we’ve had an absolutely beautiful time presenting our own music as well as some fun filled, twisted rock covers of some popular Coke Studio and Bollywood songs. Some of the best experiences recently have been the shows for Carmel Junior College in Jamshedpur, Tech Mahindra in Bhubaneswar, Farzi Cafe, NDMC Palete Festival, and IIT Delhi. Here’s a…

Vande Mataram Rock Version Live at Carmel Junior College, Jamshedpur

Antariksh - Vande Mataram Live at Carmel Junior College, Jamshedpur

Hello folks! Hope you’re all doing great. We’ve been waiting for a while to write about our trip to the fantastic city of Jamshedpur and upload a few videos from the great concert that we had there. Finally, it’s here. To begin with, we would like to thank Carmel Junior College, Jamshedpur for inviting us to play at their event, ‘Consonance 14′. We had a great trip and an absolutely amazing time playing for the young, enthusiastic, and super vibrant audience at the RV Auditorium. Despite all the hiccups of the auditorium shifting at the last moment, Varun and Vipul falling sick on tour, we managed to pull off one of the most…

Vande Mataram (Rock Version) Live at IIM Rohtak

Hindi Rock Song Na Jaane Free Download

As we’ve said many a times – we just love covering songs that have a huge and wide rock chorus. Looking for a new song to cover and after going through a bunch of songs, we decided to pick up the beautiful, patriotic, and the ever-so-legendary-tune, ‘Vande Mataram’, and created our own version of the song. Although, still a WIP piece, we thought of playing the song live to gauge audience’s response, and we need not even say how fantastic it was. Here’s us playing for the first time, our rendition of the popular AR Rahman tune, ‘Vande Mataram’ at IIM Rohtak’s Pro Nite: Vande Mataram (Rock Version) by Antariksh…

Why Hindi Rock? The Nation Wants To Know :P

Screen shot 2013-08-28 at 12.59.41 AM

We’ve been asked this question umpteen number of times by various friends and people who’ve heard our music (thankfully not by Arnab Goswami :P), attended our gigs, and those who’ve been following our music since our early years. Each time this question pops up, it takes us back a few years to the time when we were belting out progressive, heavy western rock/metal tunes with our previous bands – Prestorika, Feedback, Under Siege, and Decibel. The kind of bands we’d cover would include Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Skid Row, Van Halen and the likes. So, very naturally a lot of people were surprised and had questions – how come Hindi…
